Nattier was a preeminent collaborator

to such designers as Valentino, Mila Schon,

Dior, Balenciaga, Chanel, Ungaro,

Courreges, Geoffrey Beene, and Oscar

de la Renta. In an era in which fashion

magazines such as Vogue gave equal

editorial exposure to the fabric houses

and the designers, Nattier was universally

regarded as the uncontested

leader in its field.
